Scan the box. One scan of the GS1 DataMatrix reads the GTIN, expiry, lot and serial, and names the product from the BDPM. On the rest of the shelf the EAN‑13 barcode reads the same way: the GTIN and the product name, with the expiry typed in when the code does not carry it.

Any team member’s own phone
The reader is the phone a team member already carries. They open ELYQO in the browser, point it at the box and scan. There is no scanner to buy and no staff to train on new hardware.
